Our BIG Walk returns for another year – at a slightlyearlier date. We’re offering you the chance to conquer a
challenging one-day marathon along the Poole and
Bournemouth promenade to Christchurch.
Starting at @Rick Stein in Sandbanks, you’ll walk
along the golden beaches of Bournemouth, up through
Hengistbury Head. And then after a quick hop on the
Mudeford ferry (weather depending), you’ll continue
onwards to the Christchurch Mind Shop – which is
exactly half way!
The journey will then be reversed, ending back where
you started.
Joining Dorset Mind staff and volunteers, you can chose
whether to join us for part of the journey, or attempt
the whole distance!
We would love to see you join us – as an individual,
group or family. Come and have fun fundraising
with us!
This event is FREE to enter, but we're encouraging you to make a small donation or fundraise to help support our mental health services.
Every donation counts:
> Just £5 could fund refreshments for one of our wellbeing support groups
> Just £10 could provide a 50-minute mental health talk or signposting at a community outreach event
> And £15 could fund a 1-2-1 mentoring session, helping someone with extreme anxiety, depression or low confidence begin their journey towards recovery.
