Whether you are new to the Christian faith and seeking a church home, exploring the Christian faith after having tried all those other religions (i.e. Buddhism, Hinduism, Atheism, etc.), relocating to a new home in the community and looking for a new house of worship, recommitting yourself to worship practice after a long absence from the Church, or simply passing through on a visit, we would like to welcome you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to Peace Lutheran Church and invite you to worship with us. As baptized children of God, we hold firmly to the belief that we cannot by our own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ, as Lord, or come to Him; but by the Holy Spirit we are called by the Gospel, enlightened with His gifts, sanctified and kept in the true faith. (Luther’s Small Catechism)
When we gather for the Divine Service (worship) in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we are met by God himself who forgives us our sins, transforms us through his Word, gifts us with grace and strengthens us in faith through the very body and blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, that we may be fit for service in His name and for His kingdom.
