About this Event
Course 1: The Divergent Meridians
The Divergent MeridiansMarch 30, 31 & April 1 (3 days) Mon – Wed
Time: 10am until 7pm
Focus: The Body-Heart-Brain Relationship.
The Divergent Meridians is a workshop exploring the Heart–Brain Axis from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
It offers a simple yet profound approach to working with unresolved emotional patterns and immune triggers such as viral and bacterial infections, toxins, and heavy metals.
The deeper purpose of this work is to help us find our neutral space so we can clarify and rebalance our direction in life. So often, we live under the influence of others or according to paths imposed upon us. In this class, we work to clear the Heart–Brain of past blockages and environmental influences, allowing our true authenticity to emerge.
The Divergent Meridians are not the same as the 8 Extraordinary Meridians. They are a distinct meridian system in Chinese Medicine, with different functions, pathways, and clinical applications.
This class introduces many new concepts, supported by clear demonstrations and plenty of hands-on practice. Its uniqueness lies in the approach: We focus on all those situations (traumas, negative emotions or blockages) that alter the perception of self, both the psychological aspect, but also an immune concept.
We will work with the synergy between the Psyche, The Immune System and the Brain all aspects connected to the Divergent Meridians.

Course 2: The 9 Pains of the Heart
The 9 Pains of the Heart
April 2, 4, & 5 (3 days) Thurs, Sat & Sun
Note: No class on Good Friday
Time: 10am until 7pm
Focus: Mental-Emotional-Spiritual Challenges (The Shen).
The 9 Pains of the Heart is a course dedicated to the existential challenges that accompany us through much of life — the inner obstacles that distract us from living our true purpose and from the free expression of the heart’s deepest desires.
In Chinese Medicine, the “Nine Pains of the Heart” do not refer to cardiac symptoms, but to the Nine Challenges of the Heart — the trials that test the Heart as the seat of the Shen (mental–emotional–spiritual consciousness). These are natural stages of human experience that every person moves through at different times in life.
These Nine Pains of the Heart are the “Nine Challenges of the Heart.” The trials we have to face during our lives. These challenges are called “the Nine Palaces”, which in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) represent the nine main tests that every human being faces during his existence.
Not only ours, but also those tests that our parents and ancestors failed to solve. Therefore, evolution is not only individual, but of our entire genealogy.
When these stages are not understood or resolved, blockages can develop — emotional, mental, or physical — expressing themselves through a wide range of symptoms in the body.
At its core, this work recognises that the Nine Pains are not problems to fix, but phases of human development to be understood and integrated. When we recognise these stages, emotional challenges become less confronting and far easier to navigate, both for ourselves and for our clients.
Rather than pathologising emotional pain, this workshop helps practitioners recognise where someone is in their process, and gently support the body, heart, and brain to move through these stages with greater ease, clarity, and resilience.
