GPU powered GenAI servers present challenges for deployment because of the power and cooling requirements. Through research, many GenAI GPU servers don’t have 2N power redundancy as many data center operators and managers have come to expect. Few data centers are built that do not seek to have concurrent maintainability, with a high level of expensive redundancy. For hyperscalers, they’ve solved this by building unique AI-ready infrastructure.
