Ahoy, mateys! Get a closer look at the making of The Pirates of Penzance at this special Director’s Circle event with Director Ross Gumbley and MC Dan Pengelly.
How do just five performers become pirates, police, sisters, lovers and more? How do you take a beloved Gilbert & Sullivan classic and give it a 21st-century reboot? And just how much swashbuckling silliness can you fit on one stage?
Come along for a behind the scenes look at the ideas, inspirations and theatrical trickery behind this high-energy new adaptation, and get a glimpse into the creative process before setting sail for Penzance.
Tickets are only $15, including a complimentary gin and tonic (or orange juice) on arrival thanks to our friends at Little Biddy.
If you love theatre or are curious about what happens before the lights go up on opening night, this is your chance to find out.
All proceeds go to the Friends of The Court Theatre.
