​We're hosting our first dinner party at Proper 21 Social Club; a New York-imported restaurant, bar, and social club.

​Event Overview: A 3-course New American dinner. A polished, buzzy downtown room. A table full of interesting people you haven't met yet + seat rotations that guarantee you'll meet them all.

​About the Venue

​Proper 21 sits on K Street. It's a New York transplant from restaurateurs Rob Zahn and Will Strozier, who run the original Manhattan Proper and Proper West locations, and it brings their signature aesthetic with it: dim lighting, velvet wallpaper, leather banquettes, and a polished energy best described as "Tom Ford meets Thomas Edison."

​The menu is elevated New American — think truffle fries that disappear in seconds, four-cheese truffle mac, smash burgers people drive across town for, and cocktails that hold up to the room. Equal parts restaurant, bar, and social club, it's the kind of downtown spot that makes a Thursday night feel like an actual occasion.

• ​Each guest will also receive one complementary glass of wine included with their ticket purchase.

​7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Mix and Mingle

• ​Come and meet with other Dinner Table guests, get to know who you'll be dining with!
• ​1 complimentary glass of wine served at check-in.

​7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Family-Style Dinner Service

• ​Guests will switch seats between courses!

​9:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Closing Announcements

• ​Closing remarks to conclude the afternoon.
• ​This is your chance to exchange contact information with those you've met!

​All courses will be served family style for the guests to share on the tables.

1. ​​What is the general age range of your events? ​​We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others. ​​Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!
2. ​What's the difference between General Admission tickets and Men & Women tickets? ​Any ticket purchase gets the same experience, there is no difference. ​We've created gendered tickets to ensure a relatively even distribution of guests at our events. GA is open to anyone.
3. ​​Can I come alone? ​​Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the event.
4. ​​What is your refund policy? ​​We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event
5. ​​Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies? ​​Yes. Our team ensures the restaurant's menus are flexible to account for a wide array of dietary preferences.
