A Dinner Party Where Strangers Become Friends
We're back in Miami Beach for the first time in months, and we're doing it at CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro, one of the most talked-about new rooms in South Beach. An evening of bold pan-Asian cuisine, a serious cocktail program, neon-lit design you'll want to photograph, and the kind of connection that happens when strangers share a table.
You arrive solo (or with a friend), and we welcome you with a drink and a chance to meet the group. Then we sit down for a 3-course family-style dinner. Between courses, we'll rotate seats, so you're never stuck in one conversation and you actually meet everyone at the table. No awkward networking, no forced small talk. Just good food and good people. By dessert, you'll have exchanged numbers with people you'll actually want to see again.

About The Dinner Table:
The Dinner Table is a social dining community that curates intimate dinner parties and community gatherings in cities across the country. With curated conversation prompts, rotating seats, and no pressure to “network,” our events are designed to help you connect with strangers in your city!
About the Restaurant
CHŌ Funky Asian Bistro opened in Sunset Harbour in spring 2026, the first solo restaurant from Mo Alkassar. The menu is a journey through Asia with dishes from Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Indonesia, deliberately built around shareable plates. The room is a whole experience on its own: deep red neon, mirrored surfaces, velvet banquettes, vintage TVs, and a pagoda-framed open kitchen facing the street. CHŌ describes itself as moody, a little sexy, always upbeat, and says its mission is to make people feel something.
Three-Course Dinner Served Family-Style
- Dinner service includes a family-style 3-course meal for each guest.
- Each guest will also receive a glass of wine included with their ticket purchase.
- Additional beverages can be purchased at the bar throughout the event.

We'll announce the menu in the week of the dinner party after we've collected our guest's dietary restrictions.
- All courses will be served family style for our guests to share.
FAQs
- What is the difference between General Admission tickets and Men & Women tickets? We've created gendered tickets to ensure a relatively even distribution of guests at our events. Any ticket purchase gets the same experience, there's no difference.
- What is the general age range of your events? We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others. Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!
- Can I come alone? Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the evening.
- What is your refund policy? We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event
- Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies? Yes. Our team ensures the restaurant's menus are flexible to account for a wide array of dietary preferences.
