The Dillinger Escape Plan
Born out of the late-’90s New Jersey hardcore underground, The Dillinger Escape Plan detonated onto the extreme music scene with a sound that felt less like a band and more like a structural collapse in real time. With the release of their landmark 1999 debut album Calculating Infinity, the group redefined the boundaries of hardcore, metal, and experimental music through impossible time signatures, violent precision, and a chaotic live presence that quickly became legendary.
The Dillinger Escape Plan fused mathcore complexity with grindcore intensity and punk unpredictability. Tracks like “43% Burnt,” “Sugar Coated Sour,” and “Destro’s Secret” sounded mechanical yet deeply human — controlled explosions stitched together with razor-sharp musicianship. At a time when heavy music was becoming increasingly polished and formulaic, The Dillinger Escape Plan embraced dissonance, instability, and outright danger.
The Calculating Infinity era became synonymous with total sensory overload. Their live shows were infamous for shattered equipment, stage-dives from impossible heights, and performances that blurred the line between catharsis and collapse. Yet beneath the chaos was a level of compositional sophistication that would influence an entire generation of progressive metal, hardcore, and experimental bands for decades to come.
More than just a debut record, Calculating Infinity remains a defining statement in heavy music — an album that challenged listeners, alienated purists, and established The Dillinger Escape Plan as one of the most fearless and innovative acts of their era.

XCOMM are a Venice Beach hardcore punk band making fast, furious, sharply self-aware music with the rare combination of youthful volatility, serious songwriting chops and absolutely no interest in waiting their turn. Formed in 2023, XCOMM are frontman Michael Gatto, bassist Adan Escoto, guitarist Eric Matt, DJ Hunter Grogan and drummer Revel Ian. Their debut album, Time To Burn, is out now via Blowed Out Records, the label and incubator founded by legendary producer Ross Robinson, Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong. Produced by Robinson, the record is a once-in-a-generation debut that bottles the raw charge of a new wave of hardcore punk and features 11 blistering tracks powered by defiance, authenticity and unbridled talent.

SQUID PISSER is a chaotic hardcore/noise outfit blending industrial textures, fractured rhythms, and confrontational performance into a singular, abrasive identity. Featuring members of GWAR, CANCER CHRIST and Duck Duck Goose, the band fuses blown-out electronics, noise-drenched guitars, and volatile live energy into something deliberately unhinged and immediate.
The band has worked with acclaimed producers including Kurt Ballou and Steve Evetts, and has engaged with forward-thinking acts such as Melt-Banana, The Locust, and Nekrogoblikon. Releases through Three One G Records and Skin Graft Records position SQUID PISSER firmly within a lineage of boundary-pushing underground music.
