The Detroit Doors’ frontman Mike “Chizzy” Chisholm has an uncanny ability to channel Jim Morrison in a way that is true to Morrison's sound as well as his mannerisms. When you listen to the Detroit Doors, you’ll get a better representation of The Doors’ recordings. Having a dedicated bass player (Bob Tansek) and harmonica player (Tug Orr) sets the Detroit Doors apart from other Doors tribute bands. The Detroit Doors are a high energy Doors Tribute Band whose authenticity in doing the Doors catalog of songs is second to none in the country and takes tribute bands to an entirely new level. For the last 15 years this band has thrilled their audiences from Michigan to Florida. They have played hundreds of shows and wow their audiences wherever they have performed.
