The Jeans & Gems Market + Denim Parade is the flagship event of the Jeans for Joy campaign, one day where fashion, craft and community meet to put real tools in the hands of mothers.
THE DENIM PARADE
Watch upcycled denim walk. Pieces reimagined from old jeans by makers, designers and workshop participants take to the runway in a celebration of creativity, culture and second chances.
THE JEANS & GEMS MARKET
Browse stalls full of handmade, thrifted and upcycled finds, from denim fashion and accessories to jewellery, gems, crafts and local flavour. Every purchase supports local makers, and many of them are young designers and small businesses.
WHY IT MATTERS
This is the finale of our campaign to equip 30 mothers with sewing machines and start-up packs, so they can turn a skill into an income. 70% of every ticket, stall and sponsorship goes straight to that equipment.
