Join us for a meaningful session focused on traditional teachings surrounding smudging, respectful practices, and Dene cultural knowledge. Participants will learn about the different medicines used for smudging, the local history and significance of smudging, and proper protocol when working with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and the land. This session is open to everyone wanting to learn more about smudging and cultural protocol through listening, learning, and shared knowledge.
