The Delaware Cake Event

Bring a cake and come ready to taste as many cakes as possible! Whether you're an amateur baker or a seasoned pastry chef, we welcome you to share your creation, meet new friends, and sample the delicious cakes brought by fellow cake enthusiasts.

This time, the event will feature a Spring Theme, so we encourage bakers to get creative with flowers, pastel colors, and spring-inspired designs. We will also be hosting a cake competition, with prizes awarded for best taste, best presentation, and most creative.

To-go boxes will be available so you can take a few slices home.

Consumption of these cakes is at your own risk. While we encourage participants to label their cakes with ingredients and potential allergens, the event organizers, hosts, volunteers, and sponsors are not responsible or liable for any illness, allergic reactions, or other issues that may arise from consuming these homemade cakes. Please exercise caution and personal responsibility regarding your dietary choices.

This event is for ages 14 and up only. No small children allowed.

Cake bringers should arrive 40 minutes before 5:00 PM for check-in. Upon arrival, check in at the designated station, receive your wristband, and write down the type of cake you brought. You’ll then be directed to your setup area to prepare your cake display before the event begins.

Come hungry! Check in by 5:00 PM at the taster station to receive your wristband, then enjoy sampling the many different cakes available.

All attendees will receive a tasting box, gloves, and utensils to sample cakes and take some home. Enjoy a fun, festive atmosphere with music, community, and plenty of cake to go around.
