Hailing from the depths of Providence, Rhode Island, The Deep Ones play gritty, reverb-drenched surf instrumentals with a Lovecraftian edge. The trio is Jon (guitar), Justin (bass), and Erik (drums) and blends vintage tones with modern mood, performing a mix of original compositions and classic covers. Combining retro surf rock aesthetics with cosmic horror atmosphere, their sound delivers high-octane energy rooted in the Creative Capital's local scene.
Named New Act of the Year by the 2025 New England Music Awards, Vanna Pacella is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a deep devotion to her craft. Vanna and her band have made remarkable strides touring nationally, selling out rooms, and building a passionate, cross-generational following. Her sound blends infectious melodies and glimmering synths with an irresistible 70s rock grit. Described as "Ethereal Rock," her music pairs distorted rock guitars and grand piano textures with sentimental, reverb-soaked vocals and poetic lyricism. Crafted "for deeply emotional individuals who also rock," Vanna’s work creates an inviting space centered on genuine connection and shared intensity.
crash space is a dynamic Providence, RI duo featuring Damian Puerini and Beth Killian, recognized for their unique spin on experimental pop. Blending electronica, trip-hop, and R&B, the pair forges an artistic essence that stands out in the RI music scene. Killian’s vocals evolve into sweeping soundscapes of melodies and harmonies, while Puerini’s arrangements layer synthy distortions, sample work, and intricate guitar lines. Their debut full-length album, Space Mom (April 2025), established their signature aesthetic, followed by singles “shackfield” (July 2025) and “I Can Dream (It's All a Dream)” (May 2026).
