About this Event

The Deep Dinner is a dinner salon to share experiences of spirituality so we can learn from each other. People of any belief, uncertain belief, or no belief are welcome.

Our Topic this month: Sacred Creativity

The creative impulse and the spiritual impulse are tightly intertwined. How do we explore our need for the sacred in new and meaningful ways? To guide us will be some wisdom from Shira Kline, Co-Founder and Spiritual Leader of Lab/Shul, an experimental Jewish community in NYC.

Meals will be for 15 people. The diner is vegan. If you have other dietary concerns, please let us know.

Doors at 6:30pm, we begin at 7:00pm (the venue is a 3-floor walk up, with no elevator)

Your Hosts:

Mark Gilman: a Multifaith Jew with experience in several spiritual traditions and has led many events for interfaith discussion and spiritual exploration.

Stephen Silva: program manager for experimental NYC synagogue Lab/Shul. His journey involved converting to Judaism from Christianity, and his passions involve "feeding and teaching".
