About this Event
The Deep Dinner is a spirituality dinner salon to discuss spirit and faith from the heart with no agendas, no expectations, and no belief required; just community and sharing.
Our Topic this month: Good Grief
Life is filled with griefs, over jobs, relationships, opportunities...and those bigger losses when someone is truly gone. Is there good to be found in grief? We'll have a brief interview with Sensi Koshin Paley Ellison about how we can navigate grief followed by open conversation over dinner.
Meals will be for 15 people. The diner is vegan. If you have other dietary concerns, please let us know.
Doors at 6:30pm, start 7:00pm (the venue is a 3-floor walk up, with no elevator)
Cancellation Policy: Due to the preparations for our dinners, we cannot honor cancellations made the day before or later.**
Your Hosts:
Mark Gilman: a Multifaith Jew with experience in several spiritual traditions and has led many events for interfaith discussion and spiritual exploration.
Stephen Silva: program manager for experimental NYC synagogue Lab/Shul. His journey involved converting to Judaism from Christianity, and his passions involve "feeding and teaching".
