The Death Deck: Game and Conversation with a Death Doula

In honor of the National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) holiday in April, Next Level Board Game cafe is hosting local death doula Annie Valdes for a unique gaming and educational event on April 28th from 11am-1pm. Join the fun as Annie leads a game of The Death Deck, a playful party game designed to get people talking about the often taboo topic of death. Following the game, Annie will lead a non-scary conversation about End-of-Life planning.

Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. This event is free.

• What: The Death Deck is a card-based conversation game with a playful tone that encourages casual conversations around death. The game will be played in small groups, followed by an open conversation about End-of-Life planning. 
• When: Sunday, April 28, 11am-1pm - please arrive promptly at 11am for game play.
• Where: Next Level Board Game Cafe, at 888 Villa St in Mountain View
• Who Should Attend: Suggested age for this event is 13 and older, but we especially invite anyone between the ages of 20-60 who will someday die.
• Registration: No registration required. This event is free.
