Join Dean Jacob Rooksby for a brand-new speaker series designed to host distinguished leaders from the legal profession for an in-depth conversation about their careers, leadership journeys, and contributions to the law.

The Inaugural Installment

This event will feature Tim Heaphy, author of We Are the Answer: How to Save Our Democracy. Heaphy is a founding partner at Heaphy, Smith, Harbach, and Windom and recently led the House investigation into the Jan. 6 attacks on Capitol Hill. In his book, Heaphy shares inspiration and practical ideas for preserving democracy, countering political violence, and restoring institutional legitimacy.

This program will be held in person in the Moot Courtroom at the University of Richmond School of Law. Boxed lunches will be provided.
