The Day After Christmas- Photo Show

Join me at START Los Angeles for a post-holiday photo show of Christmas Trees past. Over the past 6 years I have taken photos of Christmas trees on the streets and in the trash cans of Los Angeles. Growing up in a Jewish household I was always an outsider when it came to Christmas. Seeing trees on the streets in the days after Christmas, I would think: these trees are given such care when they are displayed in the house, but such disregard when it’s time to throw them away. As I got older I came to love finding them throughout the streets of LA. They make me smile and I hope they do the same for you. All proceeds from photos and merch will benefit Tree People.
