Dave Stone brings a trio to O'Connell's Pub every Saturday night! They set up in the dining room and turn the place into the coolest late night jazz club in town. It's been going on for a while and we just haven't advertised it well enough, but a lot of folks are hip to it and think it's one of the coolest late night hang outs in town. So, if you don't want to do sports bars or meat markets and prefer a cool place to hang out and have a drink with friends while listening to some of the best musicians in town, come hang out at O'Connell's late night and please do tip the band.The acoustics are miraculously incredibly good. All of that wood and the tall ceilings make it so. You can hear a bass solo from the back of the room, yet it's not too loud. People will be talking the whole time, and you can still hear the music. It's really ideal for a late-night jazz hang out.
