Never been to a photowalk before?
Think of it as a relaxed community meetup where film photographers get together to shoot film, geek out about gear, and connect. You’ll meet fellow film enthusiasts, share stories, and celebrate the PNW film community while exploring Seattle’s waterfront with our Film Crew and event partners: Pentax & Ilford. Along the way, we’ll mingle, stop at landmarks, and take plenty of photos.

Event Details
Join The Darkroom for our Seattle Photowalk, part of the Darkroom City Tour: Seattle 2025. This public photowalk is open to everyone - locals and visitors alike. Please sign up so we know how many to expect.

Schedule
• 1:00 PM – Meet at Olympic Sculpture Park (2901 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98121). Arrive, mingle, and pick up a name tag.
• 1:15 PM – Group introductions: Film Crew + partners.
• 1:30–3:00 PM – Walk south together along Alaskan Way, stopping to shoot film and hang out.

What to Bring
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing (October weather: highs ~60°F, lows ~45°F; light rain is common)
• Film + your favorite camera gear
