On Saturday, April 20th, the Danielle Nicole band will be back at Retro Live in Plattsburgh, NY!!! This will be an incredible triple show with Kevin Burt and his band, Big Medicine and the duo of Stevee Wellons and Cheryl Rinovato, Soulful Femme opening. Danielle Nicole is the 2019 Grammy nominee for Best Contemporary Blues Album, a seven-time Blues Music Award winner, and an Independent Music Award Winner for Best RnB Album and Best RnB Song. She hails from Kansas City and is a powerhouse singer, songwriter, and bassist known for her astounding vocals, exquisite musicianship, and captivating stage presence that leaves listeners breathless. The Danielle Nicole Band is one of the hottest touring bands around, a festival favorite, and headlines all over the world. Her stunning new album, "The Love You Bleed," has hit number one on the Billboard and iTunes charts. Kevin Burt is a three-time winner at the International Blues Challenge and is nominated for Acoustic Artist of the Year. His latest album is a tribute to Bill Withers, "Thank You Mr. Bill," which is also a chart-topper. Soulfull Femme is composed of the powerful dou of Stevee Wellons vocals and Cheryl Rinovato on guitar. Their latest CD release ATTITUDE and just happens to have Kevin Burt as a guest dueting on one of the tracts.
This will be an extraordinary concert with three of of the best voices in blues today, each doing an album release show with their bands.
Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz is turning Retro Live into a world-class live music club with its big stage, 2 stories, wrap-around balcony, high-top tables, dance floor, and two bars.
