The Dance Floor Tuesdays: Cha Cha lesson, open dance practice, and a welcoming community for dancers of all levels in Austin!
Welcome to The Dance Floor. We believe every dancer deserves a place to call home. That's why we're building more than a weekly dance event. We're creating a consistent home base where dancers of every experience level can learn, practice, connect, and grow together. Every Tuesday is another step toward building that community.
What to Expect
6:30 PM | Doors Open & Community Meet and Greet
Arrive early, meet fellow dancers, and get settled before class begins.
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Cha Cha Lesson
The classes are designed to be beginner-friendly while also offering steady progression from each previous class.
No partner is required.
8:00 PM - 9:30 PM | Open Dance Practice & Social
After class, stay and practice what you've learned, dance with new partners, ask questions, and enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere. We'll also share community announcements, upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved with The Dance Floor.
Admission
🎓 Students: $5
💃 General Admission: $10
❤️ Founding Supporter: $15
Supporter tickets help us continue building Austin's growing dance community and expand future programming.
Payment is accepted at the door.
Before You Attend
All participants must complete a liability waiver and media release at the door before participating in the event.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for dancing.
Our Vision
The Dance Floor is more than a weekly dance class. We're working toward creating a permanent home for dancers in Austin, where lessons, practice space, workshops, socials, and community all exist under one roof.
Every person who attends helps take another step toward making that vision a reality.
