Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2024, for the Press Run in support of the Newspapers In Education program. Whether you prefer to run, walk, or jog, this event has something for everyone! Get ready for certified Galveston Causeway 5K and 10K courses, a Kid's 1K, a book character costume contest, vendor booths, music, food, and much more, all starting and ending at The Daily News building at 8522 Teichman Road in Galveston. Here's what you can expect:
- Professional chip timing
- USATF certified courses
- Divisions for Men, Women, and Kids, with age-specific categories
- Finisher Medals for all participants
- 1st place overall male & female awards for 5K & 10K
- 1st - 3rd place male & female awards in each age division for 5K & 10K
- All 1K participants will receive a medal
- 1st Place overall - male and female (1K)
