About The Dice & Meeple:
"The Dice & Meeple creates welcoming, hosted board-game experiences where meeting people feels easier while discovering brilliant modern board games.
Its regular Brighton & Hove games nights bring together complete beginners, experienced players and everyone in between. Florian selects and teaches the games, introduces people and helps create tables where nobody feels like the odd one out.
The games matter, but the real point is to meet, play and laugh together."
What to expect
Our very own soulie, Flo has carefully selected some games designed to get people playing, laughing and connecting around the table.
These aren’t the lengthy, complicated games you might remember and you won’t need to spend half the evening reading a rulebook. Flo is here to explain every game from scratch and keep things moving throughout the night.
Join in as much or as little as you like. You can try several games, stay with the same group or take a breather whenever you need one.
Who are we & why this matters
Dad La Soul Sessions are relaxed, judgement-free social events created for dads who could use a proper night out and the chance to spend time with other people who understand the realities of fatherhood.
This isn’t networking, group therapy or an evening where you’ll be asked to share anything personal. There’s no forced fun, no spotlight and no expectation that you’ll walk in and immediately spill your guts to a room full of strangers.
Come on your own or with someone you know. Talk as much or as little as you like. There’s no pressure to perform, explain yourself or pretend everything is fine.
Because fatherhood can be brilliant, but it can also be brutal... (often within the same 5 minutes!)
Dad La Soul welcomes dads and male-identifying carers from all backgrounds and situations. Whether you’re married, single, co-parenting or still figuring it all out, you’re welcome here.
