The Culture Parlor

The Culture Parlor is a multi-day activation including live performances, panel discussions and a close out brunch hosted by Ayana Morris in celebration of the unveiling of Don't Touch My Hair. Don't Touch My Hair is a mobile immersive experience located in Harriet Tubman Square in Newark, NJ celebrating the evolution of black hair. It gives you an intimitate look into the mind of a black woman and her connection with her hair. When your done touring the experience walk across the street and join us at The Culture Parlor for refreshments, music and lively discussions.
