About this Event
Centred on lived experience, this guided art experience explores hair as a powerful symbol of identity, ancestry, and personal story. It is especially meaningful for those who carry layered relationships with hair — shaped by childhood, culture, migration, motherhood, or moments of becoming.
Hosted at The Wellness Studio by Cicco Aroma and guided by Reisha Felix, Artist & Founder of ReiCreations Art (as seen on CTV and CP24), this intimate workshop invites you into a space that feels both welcoming and inspiring — like trying something new alongside people who feel familiar and safe.
From the moment you arrive, the intention is clear:
to help you see yourself reflected in the art you create, feel gently guided throughout the process, and leave feeling affirmed, accomplished, and deeply connected to your story.
Spring — and especially the weeks surrounding Mother’s Day — often brings a natural desire to reflect on lineage, ancestry, and the stories passed down through generations. The Crown We Carry creates space to honour those reflections in a way that is positive, celebratory, and grounded in care.
You do not need to be an artist to attend.
You simply need curiosity, openness, and a willingness to show up as you are.
You’ll leave with:
- A completed, personal art piece you’ll be proud to display
- A deeper connection to your story, your ancestral crown, and self-expression
- A sense of being seen, guided, and supported
- A shared experience rooted in creativity, care, and community
This is more than a paint-and-sip.
It is a guided, intentional creative journey — for women who are seeking space to slow down, reconnect, and create with intention.
