Established in late 2023, Primal Soup is an energetic, Maine-based tribute to Phish.

Made up of four seasoned and professional musicians, all Maine natives and active members of the Maine music scene, Primal Soup seeks to deliver some of Phish’s more ambitious compositions while capturing the energy of their deep improvisational adventures.

Constantly adding to their catalog of Phish songs, Primal Soup aims to create an authentic experience, often times accompanied by quality promotional artwork that’s unique to each event, and delivering a different and thoughtful show from date to date while debuting new Phish songs regularly.
