100 + Men coming together to walk 1-2 mile hike to cedar commemorating Jesus’s call to pick up the cross deny our selves and follow him. Luke 9:23. There will be one 8ft wooden realistic cross carried from start to finish and symbolic of the trails, struggles, and burden we as men must walk with daily as we follow God. The will be a 15-30 message of hope, encouragement, and empowerment given once we reach the top of our destination. There will be water and refreshments. Each man or boy is encouraged to carry a cross of some sort big or small or even a shirt with a cross on it. Write as much as possible the things that you carry on those items as it will be a visible and physical representation of you carrying those things vs those things carry you.
