For anyone in the vicinity, do come and join Frances Wilkins at the Skye & Lochalsh Archive Centre in Portree for an opening reception of her photographic exhibition, 'The Cree Fiddlers of James Bay' at 5:00pm on Monday 8th September. Frances will be joined by co-curator Ronan Martin to talk about the music and musicians showcased in the exhibition. They will also be playing some tunes from the James Bay repertoire on fiddle and concertina.
The exhibition will be on display there until 31st March 2026.
