This one’s for the grown folk.

I know my creative 90s R&B + hip-hop crew are out there, so I created The Creative Social as an excuse to get my tribe together.

Taking it back 2 the 90s when we actually chilled, hung out, listened to music and had a laugh — before our phones took over everything.

I’m Gee — an artist, art educator and former DJ with a love of art, music and bringing people together.

This is a 6-week art course, but I don’t do follow-the-leader art where everyone goes home with the same thing. I invest in the individual. You’ll explore different artists, materials and techniques, but I’ll encourage you to take your work in your own direction and create something that feels like you.

And obviously, the music matters.

We’re talking 90s R&B + hip hop, singalongs and those tunes where everyone still knows every word. In the words of NWA — Express Yourself. That pretty much sums up what this course is about.

Come on your own or bring your mates. You don’t need to be an artist — just come ready to create, connect, switch your phone off for a bit, buss some jokes and enjoy yourself.
