The Cozy Reading Experience 📚
We created Gather Grow Play to be a community based around slowing things down, empowerment and fun.
Every two weeks we get together for Gratitude practice, Goals setting, Breath work and a Fun activity.
For the activities... we've done kickboxing, bird watching, cold plunging, sound bath, bowling, yoga, ...
And for this one on October 25, 2026, from 1:45PM to 4PM, we're doing the Gratitude, Goals setting, Breath work, and:
Reading books with blankets, tea, snacks and awesome instrumental music.
We're going to get comfy af.
And we're going to read.
This has been a vision of ours for a while and recently has been extra inspired by discovering a trend that's emerged in Tokyo, Japan called JUCY Book Rave where people go to nightclubs to cozily read books while a DJ plays ambient music.
We are STOKED for this one.
What to Bring 📚
- A book!
- Cozy blanket(s). Pillow(s). Beanbag chair(s).
- Comfy clothing, cozy socks, slippers, ... comfy stuff.
- Water, tea, snacks, if you want 'em.
The idea is to make yourself feel right at home. Cozy af.
We don't want unnatural candles! Only 100% natural candles with zero chemicals please :) But candles are awesome.
Event Details
When: Sunday, October 25th at 1:45pm
Where: 725 Marine Drive, North Vancouver
- We'll greet you at the Marine Drive facing front door (next to F45 fitness club).
Length: Approximately 2 hours (+ 15 minutes to arrive and get settled)
