The Courtyard Series Presents: Claire DiVizio

Claire DiVizio (they/them) is a versatile artist whose onstage performances have included opera, operetta, musical theatre, recital, cabaret, and drag, and whose off-stage work ranges from stage direction, costume and production design, and arts administration, to writing and music education. Claire is a tenured member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and has appeared onstage in recent seasons with Chicago Fringe Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, St. Petersburg Opera Company (FL), Cincinnati Chamber Opera, Janus Concert Series, and the Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company. Claire is also the founder and Executive & Artistic Director of Thompson Street Opera Company, a Chicago-based “storefront” company which exclusively produces chamber operas by living composers. The company boasts sold out performances, an Honorable Mention in Chicago Classical Review’s “Best of 2019”, grant support from the Illinois Arts Council and City of Chicago, and an ever-expanding roster of exceptional and diverse artists.

Helpful Info:

Colvin House cannot provide parking onsite for this event. The first 20 cars can park free at George B. Swift Elementary school, just a block west of Colvin House. Please pull up to Colvin House's driveway gate (Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit which will provide further instruction.

For $12-$14, valet parking is also available at the Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.

We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
