Her work has been featured at the DesignTO Festival and in Designlines Magazine as part of its Women Architects and Designers series. Tonight, she’s sharing pieces from her MakerWear collection—an urban workwear line influenced by Hamilton’s working landscape—as part of her upcoming Hamilton Fashion Week showcase, along with new designs in collaboration with Samplelicious, with opportunities for feedback and pre-order.

Born in Spain and raised in Hamilton, his cooking is rooted in local ingredients, sustainability, and bold, honest flavours shaped by his journey through both street food and refined culinary spaces.
Layal Al-Haidari
Layal Al-Haidari is the driving force behind the business. A former journalist with a decade in Toronto media, she co-founded their food venture in 2013 and leads operations, events, and brand. Her storytelling background and sharp eye for detail bring the entire experience to life beyond the plate.
