The Cosy Desi Club: Creative Mixer

We’re hosting our very first Creative Mixer – an intimate space for Global Majority creatives to connect, share and collaborate with anyone looking to expand their circle within art, culture and community.

Writers, designers, photographers, filmmakers, artists, founders and people curious about the creative world are all welcome. The space is designed to bring people into the same room to share ideas, spark conversations and make new connections.

Don’t worry, this isn’t a formal networking event. There are no awkward networking rounds or ice-breakers here, just a room full of people building things and the conversations that happen when they find each other.

What’s happening in the room:

• Areas to share and spotlight your work
• Gentle conversation prompts to keep things flowing
• A show-and-tell area for work you’re proud of (bring work you want to share/ business cards!)
• Collab Boards to share what you’re working on, offering, or looking for
• Mini Vision Board Making to craft or pin inspirations to take home
• Collective zine making – shared digitally after the event!
• Open discussion and collaboration across creative fields
• Light food (loaded tots) will be provided and is included in the ticket price.

When you arrive, you’ll also be able to pick a coloured sticker to signal why you’re here — to collaborate, connect, or explore (or all three!).

Capacity is limited, so every conversation counts. Come through and be part of the room and leave with new friends.
