It’s that time of year again to bring your flags and bunting and join the Corinthian Singers of Adelaide for their 2024 Proms at St Johns. This, their first and last night of the proms, is now in its third year.
There will be the usual pomp and circumstances of the Proms with Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstances and Parry’s setting of Jerusalem in the first half of the programme. In the second half, there will be the marking of anniversaries of composers gone by, and dedications to musicians we have lost this year.
There’ll be drinks at interval and the proceeds of the concert will go to St John’s Service to Youth.
