Be ready for a night of irresistible reggae rhythms on Friday 21st March when The Core Reggae Band make their first visit to Joe Joe Jims!The Band - featuring Dean Hopkins on bass and vocals, Lee Mcmanus on Guitar and vocals, Michael "Moggy" Lackner on drums and the one and only reggae legend himself John "POPS" Dowling on percussion - will be singing hits of UB40, Bob Marley, John Holt, Morgan Heritage, Tarrus Riley, Ken Boothe, Aswad, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Gregory Isaacs and many many more.
These musicians have been playing together for over 20 years in different party function bands and tribute acts all over the UK and Ireland, but now they have been joined by the legend that is pops John Dowling. Pops has worked with UB40 for many years, and has collaborated with numerous reggae artists including Tarrus Riley, John Holt, Ken Boothe and the great dancehall artists Sean Paul and Don Yute, to name but a few.
Time to get your vibe on and dance away to the sweet sounds of reggae music we all know and love!
