ARE you a FAN of our amazing Saltmarsh on Cleethorpes Beach??? Do you love exploring the nature here and finding out about the marine life that lives in our saltmarsh??? We're making a fanZINE to share our love of the Humber coast and need your help....
A zine is a self published magaZINE - created by fans with love and passion to share something they love...yes the Saltmarsh here on our beach ..our protector of floods and home to many sea creatures.
Come and learn about how it works !
Join OLS as we explore our exciting new environmental coastal project based on our amazing saltmarsh on the Fitties Beach.
This workshop is a creative opportunity to help us create an eco-zine to share facts and information about the marine aquatics, flora and fauna in the interdial zone and home to our amazing saltmarsh.
This workshop will :
- guided walk to the saltmarsh
- share facts and information about marine flora and fauna
- use creative techniques to produce a Zine page of your own
- contribute to the project zine and see your work published and shared
- help save the saltmarsh from threats like pollution and destruction
We will use:)
- photos, images and your own drawings
- text, font, words and grafitti!
- glue, sticky, decoupage and mixed media art
- tidewrack ( if you don't know what this is come along along and find out!)

Timetable:
10:00 am - Arrive and check in
10:30- 11:30 am Beach walk and exploration - come prepared - crocs or wellies and spare clothes if your a young person!
11:30- 12:00 Tea and cake / bring a sandwich
12:30- 2:30pm Art workshop - Create your own Zine ART
02:30- 3:00pm Review and share work
This event is FREE - under 16 to be accompanied by an adult unless by prior arrangement - Our Staff are DBS checked
This workshop is funded by EAST COAST COMMUNITY FUND and provided through Outdoor Learning Schools CIC to promote people love and connection to nature
