Join The Convertibles for an all-ages Sunday matinée show at Irene's Pub in Ottawa. The Convertibles are a new band on the scene, and at this concert we'll feature a wide variety of music. Of course we'll play a few classic big band hits from Dizzy Gillespie, Thad Jones, Rob McConnell & the Boss Brass; some tunes off-the-beaten-path from Clarke-Boland Big Band, Full Faith & Credit, Freddie Hubbard and Horace Silver. O
But our second set will feature tunes not associated with the Big Band Sound at all - get ready to hear our reimagined versions of hits by Prince, Radiohead and other great 90's bands - all played by a stellar group of professional musicians.
