About this Event

Whether you are single, dating, or in a committed relationship, healthy relationships require more than chemistry. They require self-awareness, communication skills, emotional safety, healthy boundaries, and the ability to repair when things go wrong.

Connected Woman is a practical two-hour workshop designed to help women strengthen the way they show up in relationships.

This is not a lecture about finding the “right” person. It is an interactive workshop focused on helping you build the skills that create healthier, stronger, more connected relationships.

What You'll Learn

During the workshop, we’ll explore how to:

  • Recognize your own relationship patterns and triggers
  • Understand what you need when you feel disconnected
  • Create greater emotional safety in your relationships
  • Communicate needs, requests, boundaries, and standards more clearly
  • Listen in a way that helps others feel understood
  • Recognize small bids for connection
  • Start difficult conversations without immediately creating defensiveness
  • Identify unhealthy conflict patterns
  • Manage emotional flooding and know when to take a healthy pause
  • Repair after disagreements and reconnect
  • Build more appreciation, trust, friendship, and connection
  • Create your own personal relationship plan

This Is an Interactive Workshop

You won’t spend two hours simply listening to speakers.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll participate in:

  • Short teaching sessions
  • Personal reflection exercises
  • Partner and small-group activities
  • Real-life relationship scenarios
  • Communication practice
  • Live demonstrations
  • Group discussion
  • Practical exercises you can use immediately

You will never be required to share private relationship details with the group. The goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can learn, reflect, and practice at the level that feels right for you.

Gottman-Informed Relationship Skills

One of our workshop trainers is a therapist trained in the Gottman Method, one of the most recognized approaches to couples communication and relationship health.

You’ll be introduced to practical Gottman-informed concepts including:

  • Bids for connection
  • Turning toward one another
  • The Four Horsemen of destructive communication
  • Gentle start-ups
  • Emotional flooding
  • Repair attempts
  • Appreciation and fondness
  • Building friendship and trust

These concepts will be combined with practical coaching focused on self-awareness, dating, communication, boundaries, and creating healthy relationship patterns.

Who Is This For?

This workshop is designed specifically for women.

You may be:

Single and wanting to prepare yourself for a healthier future relationship.

Dating and wanting to better understand your patterns, standards, and communication.

In a relationship or married and wanting to strengthen your connection and communicate more effectively.

You do not need to attend with a partner.

The Workshop Journey

We’ll move through five stages:

Understand Yourself
Recognize the patterns, emotions, and reactions you bring into relationships.

Create Safety
Learn what makes people feel emotionally safe, valued, and connected.

Communicate Your Needs
Practice communicating feelings, needs, requests, boundaries, and standards more clearly.

Navigate Conflict
Learn how to disagree without damaging the relationship and how to repair when things go wrong.

Intentionally Build Connection
Discover the small everyday behaviors that build friendship, trust, appreciation, and intimacy over time.

You'll Leave With a Personal Relationship Plan

At the end of the workshop, you'll create a simple plan identifying:

  • The kind of relationship you want to build
  • A relationship pattern you want to change
  • A need you want to communicate more clearly
  • A healthier way you want to approach conflict
  • A boundary or standard you want to strengthen
  • One way you will intentionally create more connection

You’ll leave with more than information.

You'll leave with specific skills to practice and a clearer picture of the kind of relationship you want to help create.
