A legendary night of roots reggae and genre-blending sound takes over Tumbalong Nights as The Congos and Keanu Nelson perform a special free live show. Formed in the 1970s, The Congos are icons of reggae history, known for their seminal album Heart of the Congos and their powerful live presence, where spiritual harmonies and classic rhythms meet raw energy. Joining them is Luritja artist Keanu Nelson, whose dub-gospel sound blends minimal electronics with influences of reggae, gospel and disco, sung in both Papunya Luritja and English. Part of Vivid Sydney, Tumbalong Nights brings 23 nights of free live music to Tumbalong Park, showcasing a diverse lineup of international artists, Australian talent, emerging acts and DJs.
