Join us for Cultural & Innovative Evenings at the Consulate-General of Japan in Boston with Seiho Umeno, Master Gardener, President & CEO, of Umebachien Co., Ltd., Founder of Commons Garden, and native of Kyoto, Japan.
Gardens are more than landscapes.
In this lecture, Seiho Umeno will introduce the view of nature and philosophy embedded in Japanese gardens.
Based on the concept of gardens as a space for sharing empathy, this lecture will explore new possibilities for international cultural exchange. By cultivating empathy beyond differences in culture and values we can build relationships that lead toward the future.
