This is part 1 of a 4-part series.
May 19, 21, 26, 28 | 2-3:30 p.m.
Why forgive? What does forgiveness mean? How do we forgive irreparable harm? What can we expect of a perpetrator? What does it mean to be forgiven by someone? Most faith traditions provide little guidance for navigating the emotional, social and spiritual dimensions of practicing forgiveness. In this class, we’ll explore these difficult questions using the lenses of forgoing revenge, justice and reconciliation. Rebecca is a retired Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary professor and dean.
