About this Event

Overview This monthly gathering is a moderated discussion group for people who want to think more clearly and live more deliberately. Drawing on philosophy, spirituality, science, etc., we explore themes that actually matter in daily life. Each session centers on a carefully researched topic, grounded in real questions people actually wrestle with. From there, we talk. Come share what you know, hear what others have lived, and leave with something useful.

Format Led by Abraxas Adams, we anchor our conversation with a printed handout exploring a single theme in depth, with context, evidence, and questions built in to prompt real discussion. We take turns sharing perspectives. No one is required to speak, and no one dominates the floor. Bring your sense of humor, your curiosity, and an open mind. Disagreement is welcome, disrespect is not.

Purpose Ideally, you'll leave each session having learned something new, feeling more capable of navigating your own life, and a little more connected to truth and to each other.

About Clubs @ Manny's - Manny's Clubs are discussion groups that convene once a month for 90 minutes to discuss a wide variety of topics. Led by community moderators, the groups are meant to bring together ideas and build community. Groups may exchange ideas, discuss specific works or decide to take a field trip. Actionable outcome is not required but is encouraged. Participants are asked to make a 6 month or yearly commitment. Moderators will be in direct contact with participants after subscription purchase.
