About the Evening
The Community Cards Classic brings Calgary's business community together for a night of friendly poker, good company and giving back. Hosted in the Devonian Room at the Calgary Petroleum Club and presented by Thrive Creative, the evening is built around one idea: every hand supports two Calgary organizations doing important work in our community.
What to Expect
Arrive, settle in and connect with fellow guests before the cards come out. Before play begins, you'll hear directly from the two charities the evening supports. From there, it's a seated tournament run by professional dealers, so all players and first-timers alike can relax and enjoy the game. Prizes will be awarded throughout the night, and a raffle will run alongside the tournament.
There will be a buffet food option available and the first break in the tournament

Niitoiyis Family Support Society works with Calgary families, providing support and connection when it matters most.
Vecova supports people with disabilities in Calgary, helping them live, work and take part in the community on their own terms.
