Step inside the Samuel Worth Chapel… and prepare to be absolved.Welcome to The Comedy Confessional – a dark, immersive comedy night set within the hauntingly atmospheric surroundings of Sheffield General Cemetery.
This is not your typical stand-up night. Expect bold material, twisted humour and unapologetically edgy performances from comedians willing to push boundaries and say the things everyone else is only thinking. Presiding over the evening is The Priest, delivering judgement from the pulpit, while The Keeper of Sins gathers anonymous confessions, secrets and questionable life choices from the audience… some of which may not stay secret for long.
On arrival, audience members will be invited to submit their own sins and regrets — no names, no judgement, just pure comedic ammunition. Throughout the night, selected confessions may reappear in unexpected ways, because at The Comedy Confessional, nothing is truly sacred.
Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Samuel Worth Chapel, this unique event blends immersive theatre, audience interaction and fearless stand-up into an unforgettable night of laughter and wickedness.
