The Color of Phenomena l Christina Bardram

Davis Gallery is pleased to present The Color of Phenomena, the solo exhibition by Christina Bardram.
Christina Bardram's works draw on a wide range of cultural, botanical, and meditative references. Within the simple geometry of the canvas, the artist's voice is transformed into a poetic, minimalist visual language that conveys both tranquillity and intensity. It is a space where colours, layers, and rhythms unfold at a pace that invites presence, allowing new associations to emerge within the viewer's own inner landscape. Here, silence and concentration are combined with a strong lyrical sensibility.
Bardram abstracts from her personal experiences to explore the phenomenology of colour, form, and surface through the interplay of linear and painterly, opaque and transparent, flat and spatial, and glossy and matte.

Her visual language is pared back yet open, weaving connections between past and present.
