The Collective Survival Manual, A Collage Risograph Printing Workshop
About this Event
"How do we live together as the systems around us begin to fracture?"
This hands-on workshop invites participants to co-create a non-conventional survival manual for uncertain times. Through collage and scan-based risoprinting, we’ll produce a series of A3 posters that gather instructions, rituals, and strategies for living together amid uncertainty.
We move between practical tools for survival and more poetic, speculative ways of imagining life, exploring forms of organizing beyond dominant systems—through mutual aid and collective housing, new forms of decision-making, and practices such as magical rituals and spells, myths, and letting other beings and creatures take over. It is a space for collective imagination, humour, and new inventions.
The workshop is fully analogue, no laptop is needed. No prior experience with risograph or collage is required. Participants will be able to take home their own A3 riso-poster, along with other posters from the collective survival manual.
