The Collective Shelf Book Club holds their monthly meetings at our shop. This book club is for people in our community to get together & read speculative fiction & relevant nonfiction. The books read in this group are geared towards facilitating conversation around defending democracy & human rights, protecting those most vulnerable in our community, and envisioning a future where safety & humanity for all is obtainable.
For September, the chosen book is "Log Off: Why Posting & Politics (Almost) Never Mix" by Katherine Cross. If you're interested in joining the Collective Shelf Book Club, the next meeting is on September 20th at 11:30 am.
