The Cocoon Fall Series with Deviné
About this Event
The Cutting Back
Lavender is pruned in the fall so it returns stronger — cut back hard, on purpose, by someone who loves it. We open the season with a clearing: what are you cutting so that you can come back? Movement that finds the grip and loosens it.
We open on the floor — bare feet, soft light, a moment to arrive before anything at all is asked of you. You’ll plant one intention, a seed only for you, and we build the container together: warm room, safe walls, nothing to perform.
From there the body wakes. Long, unhurried movement through the hips, spine and shoulders — bigger, never faster. Slow on purpose, because slow is where the strength actually gathers.
Then the room finds its groove. The beat deepens, everyone lands in the same rhythm, and we hold shapes long enough to build real stamina. This is the warm, working heart of the hour — and nobody rises alone here. The circle carries the lift.
The movement softens into a hum you feel more than hear. Hands to the ground. We turn inward and stay there a while, in the hush where the body finally tells you what it’s been trying to say all week.
We close in rest, re-meeting the intention you planted at the start to feel how it has moved. One word each, spoken aloud in the circle — witnessed, never corrected — and we wrap by 10:15.
The whole hour runs on wireless headsets, so the music lands fully inside you while the room itself stays quiet.
These mornings are open to every body and every level — including people who haven’t truly moved in
years — and magnetized toward anyone in a season of going inward who would rather not do it alone.
