The Clucky Derby

Join us for a truly unique and joyful community event at Mindful Journey Academy’s Clucky Derby & Kentucky Derby Social on Saturday, May 2nd at Wondering Woods Farm.

Our students have each selected a chicken to represent them in the Clucky Derby, where these feathered racers will take to the track in a fun and lighthearted race. Students will be cheering on their chickens while wearing their custom tie-dye race shirts, making this a memorable experience for everyone involved.

This event is more than just a race—it’s an afternoon of connection, laughter, and community. Families and friends are invited to come enjoy time on the farm, support our students, and take part in a one-of-a-kind fundraiser.

After the races, we will continue the celebration with food, social time, and an outdoor viewing of the Kentucky Derby, bringing a festive and classic Derby atmosphere to the farm.
